The 2018 Asian Games Opening Ceremony was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Red Circle Projects built for two segments in the show. A 12m wide diameter flown sun which rose from behind the large green mountain.
RCP also built the Jakarta skyline for the Energy of Asia segment at the end of the show. This involved 17 large moveable carts with pivoted counterweight systems to swing up the 11m tall buildings.
